HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET MY ACCOUNT APPROVED BY GOOGLE?
Once you’re ready to publish your book, there’s a short delay while your account goes through a preliminary policy review, which can take up to 7 days to complete. Please note that all new publishers must go through a mandatory review process when trying to publish their first book.
While your account is under review, books pending online release from your account may be temporarily marked as ‘Needs action’. However, no action is required and all eligible books will publish automatically once the review is complete.
You can also add new books and make changes to existing books, but they won’t go live until the review is complete.
DO I NEED TO CREATE AN ALIAS ON GOOGLE BOOK?
When publishing a book on Google Books, you don’t need to use an alias. Google Books is a public platform for creating, publishing, and sharing eBooks. When you publish a book on Google Books, the author’s name is publicly visible and doesn’t require the use of an alias.
