According to authorities, around 23:22 on September 12, the authorities received a fire alarm at a residential house in Lane 9/29, Khuong Ha Street. The place where the fire occurred was a 70-story, one-tum house, with many people trapped inside.
The Ho Chi Minh City Police dispatched the Fire Protection Police Department, the Police of Thanh Xuan, Hoang Mai, Dong Da, Ha Dong districts and the Academic Fire Brigade of the University of Fire and Fighting, along with 15 fire engines and more than 100 police officers to urgently arrive at the scene to coordinate with the authorities, Local people organized firefighting.
